Repeating Decimals to Fractions...Can It Be Done?
Yes it can!
Not only can it be done,
But our RVMS 8th graders found a shortcut to make the job easier.
Tonight, ask your 8th grader what the fraction would be for:
0.88888.... or
0.37373737.... or
0.123456123456.
We did have one question stump us.
What is the fraction for 0.999....?
When you do the math, it equals 1!
Hmmmm????
